This is a fun event that really is designed to help a wife or Significant Other cope with cross-dressing, but the cross-dressers who attend will argue that! We have way too much fun! .I have attended five times—once in 2003, twice in 2004, once in 2005, and once in 2006. There are usually over a hundred cross-dressers attending, some with their wives and children. It is a very good event for a cross-dresser who hasn’t been in public before, or is just starting to get out, and also for the wife who still isn’t quite sure about her husbands' cross-dressing. Other than the evening meals, there are no required events, but there is a wonderful Victorian town to shop in. There are a few seminars and meetings you can attend, including a WIVES ONLY luncheon. Beginning with the Fall 2005 Getaway, I was put in charge of the fashion show, and with the help of a lady friend in Eureka Springs, they have been a resounding success. Saturday night is traditionally the big Gala, with a special meal that is ordered when you register, and a chance for everyone to wear their nicest evening or dinner gowns. This spring, The McGuire Sisters (????) showed up, and entertained everyone by singing several of their hits.
And of course, there is always dancing after the evening meals, with our very own crossdressing disk jockey! There is also a good choice of nice places to go for that night cap and more dancing before you return to your room for that well deserved night of beauty sleep!
